St. Marks United Methodist Church

Bob Marks has served as the Senior Pastor at Saint Mark United Methodist Church since 2001. Born and raised in Riverside, NJ, he graduated from Rutgers University with a BA in History/Education in 1978 and from Wesley Theological Seminary with an M. Div. degree in 1982. He was ordained as an elder in the Southern New Jersey Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church in 1984. Prior to his appointment at Saint Mark UMC he served as Interim Ministry Team Coordinator for the Greater New Jersey Annual Conference, and as Northwest District Superintendent and Associate Council Director in the Southern New Jersey Annual Conference. He has also served as Pastor at Trinity United Methodist Church in Bridgeton, New Jersey.

Rev. Marks currently serves as a Board Member for Mobile Meals of Hamilton and the Wesley Foundation at Princeton University. His interests include reading, travel and sports (particularly baseball). He and his wife, Cindy, have 3 children, Timothy, Katherine and Jacob.
